Privacy Policy
Introduction
This policy explains how Acrow UK Ltd uses personal information from website enquiries and ordinary customer and supplier records. Updated 13 October 2026.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
Acrow UK Ltd is responsible for this information. Contact us at sales@acrow-uk.com, call 01926 945121, or write to 3 Field Barn Road, Hampton Magna, Warwick, Warwickshire CV35 8RX. Please tell us if your contact details change. This website is intended for business enquiries and is not aimed at children.
2. Information we collect
The enquiry form asks for your name, company, email address, contact number, area of interest and message. We also keep information you give us by email, phone or during a project, such as contact details, delivery and billing details, orders, invoices and transaction records. The website does not take online card payments. Please only include information needed for your enquiry.
Our website and security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and request or security logs. The embedded Google Map also receives information when your browser loads it.
3. Where information comes from
Most information comes directly from you when you contact us, request a quote or become a customer or supplier. Technical information is collected when you use the website and its security checks. We do not buy contact lists from data brokers.
4. Why we use it
We use your information to reply to enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange and carry out work, manage customer and supplier relationships, issue invoices and meet legal or accounting requirements. The legal basis depends on the purpose: taking steps towards or carrying out a contract, our legitimate interests in running the business and responding to enquiries, or a legal obligation. We do not use enquiry details for newsletters, competitions or advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
5. Who receives it
People working for Acrow and its IT support can access information where needed for their work. We use Cloudflare to host and protect the website, including Turnstile spam checks; Resend to deliver form enquiries; and Microsoft 365 for business email. These services process information needed to provide their services. Google provides the embedded map; the fonts are served from our website. Their privacy information is available from Cloudflare, Turnstile, Resend, Microsoft and Google.
We may also share information with professional advisers, such as accountants or legal advisers, and with authorities where required by law. We limit sharing to what is needed for the purpose.
6. Processing outside the UK
Some service providers process information internationally. Where a transfer outside the UK requires safeguards, we use applicable adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us if you would like information about the arrangements relevant to your data.
7. Keeping information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and limit access to people who need it. We deal with suspected data breaches and notify affected people and regulators where required by law.
8. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information while needed to follow up, carry out work or deal with related questions or claims. Retention depends on the purpose, legal requirements and whether a record is still needed. Basic customer and supplier records, including identity, contact, financial and transaction information, are normally kept for six years after the relationship ends for tax and accounting purposes. A complaint or legal claim may require relevant records to be kept longer.
9. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can:
- Ask to see or correct your information.
- Ask for deletion or restricted use.
- Object to processing.
- Ask for a portable copy.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it.
These rights have legal conditions and exceptions. Email sales@acrow-uk.com to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity. Requests are normally free, with charges or refusals only where the law allows them. We normally respond within one month; if an extension is allowed for a complex request, we will explain it.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You are welcome to contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.
10. Cookies and external services
The site uses external services for spam protection, fonts and maps. These may process browser information and, depending on the service and your settings, use cookies or similar technology. Their privacy notices explain their own processing. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking some services may affect the map or enquiry form. Other websites linked from this site have their own privacy policies.
